Vedic/Mantra Chanting for Inner peace and elevation
The power of sound - the idea resides in the sound
As per the third shlok of Aetareya Upanishad, the very first sense to come out of Viraat (or the worldly material form) was Speech, out of which emanted the fire element.
Lets face it. There is definitely a lot of power in sound energy. Imagine a glass pane getting shattering with a shrill shriek of an opera singer!
Flipping the hypothesis around constructively, the Vedic Mantras in Sanskrit have deep meanings, because essentially, Sanskrit is a language of conciousness. Sanskrit is a context free language, as opposed to context sensitive languages like English.
The soothing and innately peaceful effects of Jaaps and Listening to Mantras/Stuti/chanting can only be experienced personally. For me, it all started when I saw/heard this amazing video called Mantra Pushpam on Youtube.
The chanting by the Vedic Brahmins was so perfect and spell bounding along with the soothing humming sound that I immediately felt peaceful and lighthearted. Afterwards, I wanted to keep hearing it again and again.
Bija Mantras..
Then I started to read about Bija Mantras and their positive effects. The topic is pretty vast in itself. The chanting has powerful Bija Mantras, which bring auspicious effects for the subtle body inside us, and purifies our samskaars.
The Idea: Lets make an open collection for everyone..
Across the world, many Hindus or people of other faiths are attracted towards the methodical chanting or intonations in Sanskrit. This is an effort to pool together our resources for the greater good of the Hindus worldwide or those people trying to understand the Vedic culture.
There is something for you here..
You may not be spiritual or religious, but you can’t help being attracted to the Sanskrit Chanting, if it is done correctly. There is something magnetic about it!
Listen, and experience the soothing effect for yourself.
